THE RON RETZER TRIO BIO

The Ron Retzer Trio is comprised of Ron Retzer, Jennifer Galownia and Bob Wolfe.  Each person has a unique solo style voice, which is fluently featured, and when combined in harmony with all 3 members, the result is outstanding. To quote an editorial in the Steubenville Herald Star newspaper on August 24, 2014 "each voice of these three people separately is beautiful, but when they sing together they are blessed beyond belief with harmony so spectacular......"  Along with the superb vocal abilities and excellent harmonies of the trio, Ron accompanies them with his impressive and tasteful piano technique. Not only that but, 21st century technology has allowed Ron to use synthesizers, samplers, sequencers and computers to incorporate bass guitar and drums into the overall "live" mix of the Ron Retzer Trio, making them sound as full and as strong as a 4 piece band.  Their "live" concerts.......a mix of beautiful vocal solos, exquisite combined harmonies, impressive instrumental playing and fun filled personality quips and jabs.........make for a most pleasurable, unforgettable and inspired concert experience.  A quality time that is well spent.

Jennifer Galownia is married to Stanley (an officer with the Belmont County Sheriff's office) and is the proud mother of three wonderful children (Christian Gorza, Addie and Nathan Galownia).

She is employed at a toxicology lab working with rehab patients. Jennifer and her family make their home in Bridgeport, Ohio.  Jennifer went to school at St. Clairsville High School and started her vocal training there. She sang for multiple events such as theater, weddings, sacred concerts and local events but put her singing career on hold to raise her beautiful children (which demonstrates the commitment and devotion to her grounded family values). She started her vocal career up a few years ago and since then has sung concerts for Watchmen Broadcasting Network in Atlanta, the Dove Network, Babbies House Christian Network in Atlanta, Christian Nightline, and numerous appearances in the Ohio Valley.  She is known as a vocalist who "delivers" and leaves her audience wanting more. Her voice has been compared to that of  Karen Carpenter and Barbara Streisand!  A crowd pleaser and a crowd favorite she will capture your heart with her beauty and stylistic, vocal ability.

Bob Wolfe is married to Amber and is a devoted father to three wonderful children, Lydia, Lily and Dean.

He is a singer, songwriter, author and business owner.  Bob was a member of the Sonshine musical tour group and toured with the southern gospel group The Doyles for 5 years. He has sung for the WWVA Gospel Jamboree in Wheeling, WV and a 10 year member of Heaven Bound Ministries and He's Alive musical production.  He has sung with barbershop quartets, numerous Christmas and Easter shows and made TV appearances on the Watchmen network, Babbies House in Atlanta, Club 36 in Augusta, and local TV 9 and TV 7 appearances.  Bob is a former member of Opus Music, provided music for Relay For Life, National Day Of Prayer, political events, fraternal organizations and literally thousands of churches.  He is the published author of a humorous book titled The Way I See It (From a Front Porch Philosopher).  When Bob is not singing, he is running his plumbing business which makes one wonder, does he sing as he works the pipes or does he work the pipes to sing?  Anyway, you will not be disappointed with Bob's wonderful vocal ability and funny personality!

Ron Retzer is married to Patty and they live in Brilliant, Ohio. Both have lived in the Ohio Valley all of their lives.

Ron Retzer has been a professional musician for over 4 decades! He has performed all across the eastern United States, performed for our soldiers on a USO tour in Newfoundland and Greenland, appeared on numerous TV shows in the Ohio Valley, Augusta and Atlanta, Georgia, played one of the biggest country music festivals in the country for 25 years straight (Jamboree In The Hills), and was music director, pianist and vocalist for the WWVA Jamboree staff band in Wheeling, WV. He has recorded several albums and worked side by side with some of the biggest names in country music including Brad Paisley, Ronnie Milsap, Ray Stevens, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tanya Tucker, Willie Nelson and many more. Ron was also a public school teacher for 30 years and has recently retired so he can devote all of his time to his music! His rich vocals combined with his amazing keyboard technique are truly inspirational and impressive.

Dan Faulk is a multi-instrumentalist who has worked with numerous groups throughout the tri state area since the early 1970s.  During the ‘70s and ‘80s he worked extensively as a pianist in the big band and jazz genres, playing with the Leonard Hannigan Orchestra (Clarksburg WV), the Larry Falvo Orchestra (Washington PA), and the Falvo Jazz Quintet.  Through the latter 1980s and 90s he played various combinations of keyboards, acoustic and electric guitar, and electric bass in several classic rock, country, and cross-over bands.  Following an extended hiatus from music performance between 1995 and 2015, Dan stepped back onto the stage as the bassist for the Trio, rejoining Ron, his old college friend of more than 40 years.

Dan and his wife Cindy (also a musician) live in Washington, PA, where Dan continues working in the field of higher education administration.  Together he and Cindy have become very active participants in the music programs at their church.  Cindy and Dan are the parents of a son, a daughter, a son-in-law, and two grand dogs, all of whom live in the Washington area.

Book the Ron Retzer Trio for a concert, special music, festival, indoor or outdoor event, church concert, social or any number of activities. This group believes in its message of fun good hearted music and family oriented entertainment. Whether it be an inspired, sacred music concert or an outdoor festival with an eclectic mix of music styles from the 50's to today's country hits, the Ron Retzer Trio is equally at home and will fulfill your wishes.
